What are UCIS Gems?

UCIS Gems is the house system we have implemented school-wide to encourage community-building qualities including our character counts expectations. We do so by awarding points to students for their house when there is improvement in areas of behavior, academics, and athletics. Points are tallied and the Gem that has earned the most points is rewarded with an ice cream party.

What Gem is my child in?

Please see the table below to see what house your child is in. This will be important to know for events such as Sports Day, where kids will be asked to wear their Gem colors. UCIS Gem shirts are also available for purchase to show off your school spirit.
